AFRICA - TANZANIA - ZANZIBAR

It was a long journey getting here. We left our hotel in the Maasai Mara at 7:30 am and finally arrived at our hotel on the Northern tip of Zanzibar at 10:30 pm.  It was worth the trip.  We are staying at a small boutique hotel called the Z Hotel which is right on the beach.

We are not much into hanging out on the beach, but after the long driving days in Bhutan and Kenya it feels great to just hang out. The pool overlooking the white sand beach and the sound of waves crashing on the beach and birds calling make it very inviting to just veg.

Saturday we had two dives to the  Mnemba  Atoll. The highlights were seeing sea turtles, trumpet fish, leaf fish and crocodile fish.  We have signed up for two more dives on Monday. Life is good!,,
