Jackie is amazing!

"This is our 25 the wedding anniversary and our 50th birthdays - could you upgrade us to business class?" Says Jackie to the nice Air Canada guy. IT WORKED! Now at LAX waiting for our Air New Zealand flight to Rarotonga. I was a little concerned about making the connection. We were supposed to have an hour and a half, and I figured we would have to change terminals and go through security again. We landed 15 minutes early, and the departure gate is next door to where we landed!

The problem with electronics

Seriously - I think that Apple hates me. Or I'm just getting old and inflexible!! But I think that I have finally figured out how to get pictures off my camera, onto my iPad, off the iPad onto the web, and off the web onto this stupid bog!

 

I think that there may be something a little twisted with my iPad camera?

12 days until we go. Last minute preparations include: finish some climbs we had planned to do this summer! We have almost all of our flights booked, and all of our accommodation for the Cook Islands, Asia and Africa. I guess we'll have to pack eventually - but that will be easy since we're doing the trip with carry on luggage!
